Where am I?

This is a blog.

The goal of this blog is to eventually have articles on a variety of subjects related to music, sound engineering and audio restoration.

The title is a play-on-words with ‘High Fidelity’: to reflect that while the vast majority of 78rpm records were recorded and pressed before “High Fidelity”, most recordings past the mid 1930s, or the beginning of the Swing era, exhibit surprisingly excellent frequency response and a higher fidelity than most average listeners assume.

This blog was originally meant to focus on the music and artists themselves, but then I became a sound engineer!
